There are new results on the hacking front and it is bad, for the hackers. On Friday, Spain’s National Police apprehended three suspects that are accused of being responsible for the recent attacks on Sony.
These persons have also been identified as main figures for the hacker group Anonymous. There is evidence and advanced computer hardware found at the homes of the suspects along with chat logs of them discussing the attack.
The police believe they are the ones responsible, in part, for the attacks on the Playstation Store. Although there has been new evidence that shows they were involved in hacking into Spanish banks, Enel (an Italian energy company), and various other governments, such as Algeria, Chile, Colombia, Egypt, Libya, Iran, Spain and New Zealand, police said.
This means there is new evidence of Anon being corrupt, if their original intent was to be looking out for the people. Although it may be based on Spain’s recent decision to illegalize pirating of copyrighted material. Anonymous has no central leadership and is unpredictable in their actions, even to its own members.

Update: Anonymous have taken to retaliation by attacking Spain’s Police websites and shutting them down. Some members of the hacker group reported that their members were not acting in the general interests of the Anonymous community.
